Pixalytics Ltd provides expertise to assess, analyse and monitor the environment through remote sensing and geospatial information.

The IT facilities include local PCs/laptops/Linux machines interfacing into Cloud based systems.

 

The office has a dedicated internet access with a 20 Mb/s uncontended connection for FTP transfer as well as email/off-site software access, with web servers remotely hosted including a Pixalytics WordPress based website (developed in-house).

 In addition, Pixalytics has access to a variety of software packages (both off-the-shelf and in-house developed):

  • Document production tools including the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro;
  • Development of interactive social environments including websites, blogs and mobile apps with information storage via online MySQL databases and on-line data display via Goggle Maps / virtual worlds;
  • Image processing / Earth Observation (EO) packages such as BEAM/VISAT, ODESA and SeaDAS;
  • In-house software developed using C, IDL, and PHP scripts for EO processing / analysis and database access.

Space sector software development activities are in compliance with the European Cooperation for Space Standardisation: ECSS-E-ST-40C (Software Engineering) and ECSS-Q-ST-80C (Software Product Assurance).
