As we’re coming to the end of the year, we’re using this week to look back at our most popular blogs of the last twelve months. The question is, how many of them have you read?
2020 has been a very different year for everyone, and we’re no different. We’ve managed to almost keep up with one blog a week – we did miss one in the summer for the first time in five years! Our web traffic was down this year which is not exactly a surprise, however we’ve also been hampered with a change in the Google algorithms which we’ve not sorted out yet.
Nevertheless we’ve still had lots of views this year, and our most viewed blog of the year was:
- How many satellites orbiting the Earth in 2019? – which like last year accounted for almost 40% of our website views.
Only two blogs written in 2020 made the top ten most viewed, this was:
- How many satellites are orbiting the Earth in 2020 – this was the second most viewed blog of the year!
- Why the satellite industry is failing – not sure if it is positive or negative that this made the top ten!
The remaining top ten most viewed blogs were all written in previous years, some of which were written three, four, or even five years ago! There’s also the theme of satellites orbiting the Earth – which are always among our most viewed! The other blogs in our top ten most-read for 2020 were:
